Little did I know that all my years of growing up drawing would bring me to my lifelong career in art. When I first decided to pursue my passion for art I met plenty of opposition. I was fortunate though to have important key people in my life that encouraged me. For them I am ever grateful, especially my wife Vanessa.
My career started in the auto paint and body industry, which then went into customizing vehicles and motorcycles. I quickly made a name for myself and my work was featured in MAADA’s (Metro Atlanta Auto Dealers Association) On The Move publication, in Performance Auto and Sound magazine with a custom Nissan 350Z and painted a Scion that was featured in their TV commercial. I also have been a special guest artist at The Atlanta International Autoshow, Scion Exposed Atlanta, Nopi Nationals, featured on Fox 5 Atlanta, instructed classes for DuPont Hot Hues as well as auto body jobber stores and I have wrote articles for Auto Graphics Magazine.
It was next that I focused my airbrush knowledge and skills on customizing action figures, Transformers in particular. Being a Transformer fan myself, I love being able to get creative with projects. Although I have over five years experience airbrushing, I have been customizing action figures for nearly three years.
I use automotive grade paints as well as other types, for my customs. Since I am certified with DuPont and other name brand quality paints, I know how to properly apply these paints along with my other techniques.
